The new Rittal Automation Systems business unit extends Rittal’s comprehensive range of solutions for control and switchgear engineering. System provider Rittal has taken over and extended sister company Kiesling’s entire product range. A comprehensive range of equipment is available for professional workshop operation, from manual tools to fully automated mechanical engineering.
Go directly to Rittal Automation SystemThe manual machining of enclosure parts is time-consuming, cost-intensive and susceptible to errors. A high degree of variability, small batch sizes, fast turnarounds and constantly high product quality – those are the challenges for switchgear manufacturers today. With a Perforex machining centre, all machining processes – drilling, tapping, milling, engraving and deburring – run fully automatically, quickly, precisely and reliably. The machining programs are defined either on the basis of simple, component-oriented workshop programming, or with the aid of imported CAD data, e.g. from EPLAN Pro Panel.
100 enclosures per year. Even businesses with just 4 employees in switchgear enclosure assembly harvest considerable savings potential. With an average machining time of 15 – 20 minutes per part, a Perforex machining centre is also designed to handle significantly greater capacities. And since programming is faster than marking, use of the machine is already economical from a batch size of 1.
